Improved communication about room amenities is needed.

The Deluxe King Room boasts elegant decor with comfy furnishings that amplify the charm of the place. Its prime location along Cary Street puts you within walking distance of local shops and eateries, making it a breeze to explore the area.
I experienced inadequate breakfast options, with a continental spread that left much to be desired, lacking variety and visual appeal. Noise disturbances from outside and cramped room conditions made for less than restful nights, while occasional issues with room maintenance amplified frustrations during my stay.

Had a pleasant stay for one night while exploring Richmond. The room was spacious and comfortably decorated, which added to the experience. The convenient location made it easy to find good restaurants within walking distance. However, the breakfast selection was quite limited, which was disappointing.

Charming stay with historical flair
I had a delightful one-night experience at a lovely hotel that blends charm and historical character beautifully. The room was spacious and furnished in a way that felt both cozy and authentic, enhancing the overall atmosphere. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. A minor point of improvement would be the breakfast selection, as it could use some variety to match the rest of the impressive experience.

We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel with charming architecture. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby river district, and having modern amenities made our trip with two small kids much more comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly!
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly dining options available.

It was just an excellent fit for a brief sojourn in Richmond with extraordinarily good value for money. The location was superb, just a short walk to the Tobacco Company restaurant, which was a delightful surprise. A tip for anyone visiting, take a stroll to the local art spots nearby in the evening.

Great location, super comfy beds, and super helpful valet staff! Loved the fresh linens. Perfect for our group getaway!
The dark room and shower pressure had me feeling like I was auditioning for a water conservation ad!

Cozy and Clean Getaway
Had a really comfy stay here. The bed? Super soft, tons of pillows, and a nice big bathroom with fluffy towels. But wow, the customer service was a bit off—had a struggle just to get a late checkout. The food was a highlight though! Chef Tony's dishes are bomb—lobster & shrimp with pimento grits? Yum!

Our family stay was enjoyable, especially when we explored kayaking on the James River. The hotel’s location was perfect, with easy access to outdoor adventures and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious enough for my family, and my kid loved the view from our window.
In my kids' opinion, the hotel could have had a larger TV with better viewing options for family movie nights.
